Vacation Initiative In Science Africa
VISA was established in 2017 by Dr. Sabastine Eugene Arthur, who initiated the idea with the support of Solomon Agbozo Bedu (Nene Bedu Opata Korley II) and Dr. Charles Prempeh, to promote practical STEM education in Ghana and Africa. The NGO was officially registered in Ghana in 2018 with the aim of training and encouraging students to use STEM to tackle challenges in areas such as sanitation, poverty, diseases, corruption, and violence.
